Closing track on Like Saturn. The whole point of the album is the relationship between existential horror, extinction and escapism.
I do believe we're actively leaving the world worse off for future generations. We're proverbially eating our children for our own sake. We're huddling into groups, partly out of nature, partly out of desperation.
It's a certain kind of escapism in itself. We're so desperate to matter that we get immersed in the most trivial bullshit.
