I was going for this mental image of some guy bursting into a church mid-sermon to warn them about an apocalypse (completely unrelated to the one in Revelations) taking place outside.
Instead of mass-panic, people flock to the streets with their arms outstretched to the skies, as a blackened sun burns hotter than ever, ending all life on Earth.
